Meghan Markle and Prince Harry caught up with Serena Williams this week as they prepared for their latest project. While Harry was busy playing polo at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida on April 12, Meghan, 42, was seen chatting with her friend Williams, 42.

The event followed the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working on two new series for Netflix, both still in their early stages. Meghan was there to cheer on her husband Prince Harry and even gave him a congratulatory kiss when his team Sentebale emerged victorious.

During the matches, the 39-year-old Duke of Sussex competed against his longtime friend. Sensible won the first match 1-0 and secured another victory against Nacho’s team. Despite not scoring in the first match, Harry managed to score a point in the second, leading his team to be crowned champions of the day.

The polo match, attended by 300 guests, supported Sentebale, an organization co-founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006. Sentebale aims to assist children affected by poverty, inequality, and HIV/AIDS in Africa.

For the event, the Duchess of Sussex wore a chic white halter dress and sunglasses, while Williams opted for a black long-sleeved top paired with a long white skirt. After Harry’s team won, the Duke and Duchess shared a sweet kiss as he received the trophy. An onlooker at the event told PEOPLE, “They were very affectionate with each other, and Meghan looked genuinely happy.
